No, I don't believe so. My grandfather was Joseph Myrtle Winn of Sabine Parish, Louisiana. His father, John Alvin Winn, and his grandfather, Alvin W. Winn, were also of Sabine Parish, Louisiana. His great-grandfather, Ira Winn was born in Abbeville County, South Carolina and moved to Nachitoches Parish, Louisiana during his lifetime. His great-great-grandfather was Alexander Winn of Lunenberg County, Virginia who moved to Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana also. His great-great-great grandfather was also named Alexander Winn and was also born in Lunenberg County, Virginia. The place of his burial is unknown to me. His great-great-great-great grandfather was Daniel Winn of Prince George County, Virginia and later of Lunenberg County, Virginia. His father was Thomas Wynne III of Prince George County, Virginia. His father was Thomas Wynne of Charles City County, Virginia, and later of Surry County, Virginia. His father was Robert Wynne of Canterbury, England and later of Charles City County, Virginia. All earlier progenitors were of Canterbury, England, and going up (backwards?) were another Thomas Wynne, another Robert Wynne, John Wynne, Maurice Wynne, Meredith Wynne, Evan Wynne, another Robert Wynne, another Meredith Wynne, Howell Wynne, and a David Wynne who was married to Emma Plantagenet. Hope this helps.
