I see that MANY people have his place of birth as Virginia and I can't substantiate that. On page 906 in the book Genealogies of Virginia Families by the magazine of history and biography it states that Minor Winn (father of Minor, William, John, James, Richard, and three unnamed daughters) settled in Fauquier County, Virginia after moving here from Wales. Where is this information coming from that he was born in Virginia? Thank you for your help.
