    3. Hello Juneau, Thank you for the reply and the information on your family. I didn't notice the spelling of the Embrey names, but do know that sometimes spelling doesn't mean much. Actually, we are related through the Winns. Your Alexander Winn, Jr. was brother of Asa Barnes Winn who came to Merango County Alabama. It seems like the Winn family all headed southwest--another brother, William, came to Mississippi. Another brother who's destination I failed to put in my database, settled in Jackson County, Alabama. (I know this from researching my husband's family in Jackson County.)
