    3. Dear Cuz Barbara, Almost any thing that is in a "windows" seeable format can be copied and pasted into another "Windows" type program...[unless it is an image and it can also be copies but not always pasted into all programs as some programs don't allow images to be pasted into certain areas of their program]. So. say there is a quote or source on a web page.. you can take your mouse and highlight it, then "Ctrl C" [or right click and choose to "Copy"], go to your FTM program and Paste "Ctrl V" [or right click and choose to "Paste"] what ever you copies into FTM's Notes or into a FTM "Citation text" area in a "Source". Or you can do the same on a Windows Document, or from an e-mail etc. If you create a FTM Chart of some kind.... you can click on "EDIT" up at the top of the window and choose "Copy" or highlight all with mouse and right click and choose copy or Ctrl C and copy... then go to a e-mail, in the body where you type click your mouse there then "Paste", by Ctrl V, or right click and click Paste etc. Then the chart will be in your e-mail and you can e-mail it as part of the text and not as an attachment. Hope this helps Hugs Cuz B [email protected] http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~ttg13/ "Life may not be the party we hoped for... but while we are here we might as well dance !" ----- Original Message ----- From: "Barbara Evans" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, April 09, 2006 5:12 PM Subject: Re: [WINN] FamilyTree Maker 2006 > I'm missing something, how do you cut and paste into notes? > Barb >
