I have just received a copy of my great grandmother's marriage certificate. She was Clara WINN, b. 19 Aug 1887, married Thomas John HORN 1st February 1910 at Oxford Register Office (England). There is no occupation given for her and her address at the time is given as Woodeaton House, Woodeaton, Oxon. Clara's father is named as Claude WINN, deceased, farmer. My problem is that I can find no trace of Claude WINN. I have a copy of the 1881 Census CD for the UK and I cannot find him on it anywhere; I was wondering whether any other WINN researchers had come across him. My great uncle has said that this WINN family came from Hertfordshire but I've yet to find the link. Thank you very much for any help. Sue (in Scotland).
