Can anyone help me on this? In looking for Pierce (Pearce) A Lewis & Phoebe Langdon Richardson Lewis on the 1850 Russell Co, AL census, I've found them but also some additional Lewis & Wynn & Phillips families that are probably related but I don't know exactly how. Any help in sorting these out much appreciated. [For those of you who don't know, Phoebe Langdon 1st married Joel Richardson and they had Benjamin as well as Mary T Richardson who married Richmond Williamson Wynn, son of Green Wynne & Hannah Tyus]. Next door to John Stringer aged 53 (John Stringer 3 & Gloria 1 were caught in the Wynn household by the enumerator). Wynn in the same document buying land Land lot 1281, District 15, 2nd Section 40 acres. 7 May 1839 Book E page 31-32 Purchased from James A Bryan Witnessed by Durham Brown and Edwin Mounger, JLC #38 Same land from A.A. Winn to Lemuel Winn of Walton County. Testors: John P. Winn and Amos Brasselton, JP 22 June, 1839 Book E page 31-32 #39 Deed dated Cherokee County, 22 Jun-1839, recorded on 01 Jan 1840 from Lemeul Winn of Walton County to AA Winn of Cherokee County, Ga. In consideration of the sum of $3000 conveys all that tract of land known as Land Lot 1284, 15th District, 2nd Section. Tract consists of 40 acres more or less. signed Lemuel Winn Witness John P.
