Jack , Myles & All, *Question. Is it possible that the use of the name "Minor" in the Winn families was really another way of saying "Junior" as we would use the word "Junior" today? *Another question I have --- Is there "one common ancestor" that the "Minor Winns" in VA descend from except for the Minor Winn who married Margaret Conner? We know it isn't John & Elizabeth Winn or Minor & Ann Bird Winn since these 2 families were more likely than not fictional. Since researchers today have not been able to find documentation to support any marriage between a John Winn & an Elizabeth Minor or a Minor Winn & an Ann Bird. Please correct me if I am wrong but I don't believe that documentation has been found to prove that a Minor Winn earlier than the Minor Winn who married Margaret Conner existed in VA. Thanks.
