    3. Hal - Lemuel WAS in Russell Co, AL in 1850. He's in household 977/977 enumerated 5 Jan 1850: 977/977: Lemuel Wynn 34 M Farmer GA [1816] Ann 37 F GA [1813] Urby 12 M GA [1838] Eliza 11 F GA [1839] William 9 M GA [1841] Lemuel 7 M GA [1843] Clemmont 5 M GA [1845] Mary 4 F GA [1846] Robert 1 M Ala [1849] So based on the birth locations of the children (if correct), I'd say they came to AL from GA between 1846 and 49. Irby shows up as follows enumerated 22 Jan 1850: 1132/1132: Urby Winn 54 M Farmer GA [1796] Elizabeth 45 F GA [1805] Clemmont 26 M Farmer GA [1824] Dudley 25 M GA [1825] Frances 22 F GA [1828] Urby 19 M GA [1831] Nancy 18 F GA [1832] Stephen 15 M GA attended school w/in the year[1835] William 13 M GA attended school w/in the year [1837] Lawrence 11 M GA attended school w/in the year [1839] James 9 M GA attended school w/in the year [1841] Lisa ----- Original Message ----- From: MrMac1000@aol.com To: WINN-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Saturday, July 12, 2003 10:50 PM Subject: Re: [WINN] Related Wynn/Lewis/Philips 1850 Russell Co, AL Lisa, Sorry I have been so tardy in replying. I don't have that information in front of me. I know that Jack Wynn of Atlanata has it though. I will try to find something to help you and get back in touch. Lemuel was born in Georgia as were many of his children. he also had several brothers and sisters, but I don't recognize Green Wynn as one off the top of my head. I thought that Lemuel was in Russell County by 1850, but I'm not sure about that - I know that my grandmother's sister married his son in 1866, but they could have arrived after 1850 - I'll just have to do some checking for you. Again, sorry I have been so lax - lots going on right now. Regards, Hal
