Dear Cuz's, Several have e-mailed me privately, about the Great Race coming near your towns or stopping in your towns and wanting to know the exact route. On the other e-mail I gave the dates and where we will be... Problem is.. they don't tell us the exact highways until the day the race starts, that way no one does a Pre-run of the route. So if you see it is going to be in your town on a certain day or stopping there for lunch etc.. watch your local news, or check your newspapers once the race starts on June 21, and it should make you aware of what highways we will be using... I am told that we go into and out of each major city on major highways...but then leave the major highway and go the rest of the day on minor highways and back roads. Remember my dad [Richard Wynn] and brother [Richard Wynn Jr] will be driving the 32 Plymouth, it is car # 30, it is navy blue with beige spoked wheels. I will be in the follow vehicle, and my son will be driving the truck/car hauler, and we are called the Wynn Troupe!!. But I believe they are going to have the support vehicles separate from the race cars, so we don't slow down the racers. Now at night we will all be at one hotel in the city in the schedule and people are welcome to come and visit and look at the cars, so if we are in your city to stay the night you can find out from the news where we are can come by and visit!!!
