I have been looking for a Robert Winn who may have been a brother of my ggggrandfather Minor Winn. There was a Minor and Robert Winn in the 1803 Mississippi Territorial Census which included Madison county AL at that time. Minor and Robert Winn both Petitioned for land in Madison AL in 1809 and 1810. My Minor died in 1814 as did his partner in a land deal on Indian Creek, Giles co TN (Ambrose Foster) as their children were orphaned at that time.
