    3. Dollarhide's book is one I have used constantly for many years. It is excellent. Debartolo's book is one I wish I had gotten from the library, interesting, but just refreshed what I had learned elsewhere. Researcher's Guide to American Genealogy and Genealogy online for Dummies are both good for beginning genealogist and good to have as reference.
