James Connor was in Essex until 1722 when he purchased land in King William Co. He had court action in Spotsylvania Cout 1725. Margaret and Minor Winn were married about 1726; therfore she could not have been born in Ireland. There has been no records indicating she was born in Ireland. Margaret Connor's will (Margaret's mother) was in Culpeper court 16 May 1751. Minor Winn did not die 23 March 1778. That is the date the will was probated in the Fauquier Co. Court. The home he lived in was Rock Hill Farm and also called Greystone in the Plains, Fauquier Co., VA near Marshall. I have been to the house and the owners gave me a tour of the house.
