The 202a. on Potato Run is the first land deed that has been found for Minor Winn and it is the land that was given to Smith & Margaret Winn Johnson. Orange Co Deed Book 1&2 1735-1738 (Dorman); pp. 42-45; 23- Jun 1737; Francis Thornton, Gent. of St. Maries's Parish, Caroline County, to Minor Winn of St. Margaret's parish in said county. Lease and release ; for 26 lbs. 202 acres on the Great Fork of the Rappannock River and on Potatoe Run.
