    3. Thanks, Brian. I found the BYU Website interesting and the Winn Family of great interest. Has anyone looked at the Winn Family info on the BYU website by Bertha Bearden Keller? Bertha Keller mentions a book by Adeline Evans Winn; "Southern Lineages". Bertha Keller gives the impression that the info that she has provided for the Minor Winn Family can be found in "Southern Lineages" by Adeline Winn. Does anyone have this book and does Adeline Winn mention Margaret Winn & Moses Johnson? I believe that I have found where the mistake was made when it was reported that my ancestor, Margaret Winn Johnson daughter of Minor & Margaret Conner Winn married Moses Johnson. Either Adeline Winn or Bertha Keller reported that the Fauquier & Halifax Co. VA Court Records proved that the Moses Johnson who was the guardian of Benjamin & Elizabeth Winn Smith's Minor Children (both Benjamin & Elizabeth Winn Smith died in Halifax Co. VA by 1770) was the "husband of Margaret Winn Johnson". Further research of Culpeper Co. & Halifax Co. VA Court Records would have proved that Moses Johnson was the "SON of Margaret Winn Johnson" and that her husband was "Smith Johnson". Anyway I am interested in the info Adeline Winn reported in "Southern Lineages" concerning Margaret Winn Johnson daughter of Minor Winn. Thank you for your help.
