I don't really have much information on her, but Dr Chappell's footnotes indicate he found information regarding Lettice in "History of Spartanburg County" (Atlanta, 1900;reprinted 1960) p158. Also "Directory of the Senate of South Carolina 1776-1964", pg 337 You might find more information there. I am also discussing Lettice with a contact in Texas. How do you descend from Lettice?
