Hello, Is there anyone that is working on Winn/e from New York. My Winn, Rebecca was born in NY (I believe in Guilderland), Albany County, Married James Chase, my 2 gr grandfather. They married about 1824 as a daughter was born about 1825. I found a son (family search.org) born 1828 and christened in NY. I believe because of the naming of James and Rebecca's children that she is the daughter of Nicholas and Alida (Vrooman) Winn. James Chase b. 1797 d 8 Oct 1869 married about 1824 Rebecca Winne b. 19 Feb 1803 d 9 Mar 1884 Elizabeth L <1825> Nicholas 14 Sept 1828 Alida Jane 19 Nov 1829 Emeline <1834> Mary <1936> James Henry 17 Jun 1840 my great grandfather All Nicholas Winne's I have found have no Rebecca and all the Rebecca Winne's I have found have not married a James Chase.
