Roberta, First off, glad to meet ya and second forget everything you think you know about Captain George. He is not the child of John Minor and Elizabeth Minor. If you can go back and read Miles' finding for all of this. Maybe Miles will post it again for you. I have been researching this "old goat" for over 20 years and have never found anything further than he was born in Bertie Co. NC or Isle of Wight Co. NC. This is not right!. Records show that he came into Chowan Co. NC on a ship, I'll have to find the information that Jo sent (she is also researching this line). My line is also John Daniel, I'll find out from Jo if I can give her private e-mail address. She has lots of information, she's smarter than me, she keeps everything in order. By the way, I am going to research Richard's line and see if I can find anything. I do know that our line from Captain George was supposedly from Wales, but where is the 64 dollar question! Since I lost my computer and had to buy a new one, I don't have it on the hard drive, when I get the information from Miles again I am going to put it all on CD and then I know it won't get lost. Thank you, I have no idea who Miles is. I've been printing everything out so I can have it to look at.
