    3. I need the help of the Southern branch of the WYNNE family to help identify a family member. Rebecca Wynne married Nathaniel Tomlinson on 7 May 1812 in Sussex,VA. Nathaniel ( b.1747 MD ) spent most of his life in Loudoun Co., VA including a brief stint in the RW. According to his RW pension application , he took off for Westmoreland Co., PA with his son Thomas ( my gggrandfather ) after his marriage to Rebecca. He had never been there before and was 65 years old. We have always puzzled why? He stayed in Westmoreland Co. until 1819. His son Thomas ( b. 1800 Loudoun Co., VA ) according to research by Vicki Leonelli became a school teacher in Fayette City (Cookstown ) PA in 1818, married a local girl, Hetty Allen, raised a large family and moved to Harrison Co. OH in 1833. The only apparent reason to move to PA is Rebecca. Can anyone in he Southern family help me identify the family roots of this Rebecca Wynne ? Incidentally, they may have moved in with Jonathan Wynne in Westmoreland Co. He is th most likely candidate. Thank you.
