Thank you both, the son, this last year has done a lot of growing up and is working very hard and doing with out a lot trying to get ahead, Dad thought that this would be a good way to show him we appreciate all of his hard work. We are just glad to be able to do it for him. I can't wait to see his face, he is in MI, installing credit card swipe machines at Dollar stores, running from store to store with a old car the size of a boat, [87 Mercury Marquee] that he has to hold the gas pedal down to keep it running, it is running hot, it's smoking out the back and he has been with out air conditioning for three years, and this weekend three of the four windows quit working... ha ha ha.. his current car is a mess.. so I think when I hand him the keys he is going to faint!!!! ha ha ha... I think it will be fun, can't wait to see his face. Cuz Becky ttg-inc@comcast.net
Cuz Becky, Your son is one of those 'deserving persons' who will probably faint out cold when you deliver the vehicle & keys to him. Been there! After school days, & for my first public job, dad found an ole '5l Chevelot Coupe with granny seat for $350 (I believe) - I bought it & used it for years til I could get another. Have a safe trip - GJA/ ts ----- Original Message ----- From: "The Thill Group Inc" <ttg-inc@comcast.net> To: <WINN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, September 02, 2003 3:58 PM Subject: Re: [WINN] WAY OFF TOPIC Out of Pocket Notice..9/3/2003 > Thank you both, the son, this last year has done a lot of growing up and > is working very hard and doing with out a lot trying to get ahead, Dad > thought that this would be a good way to show him we appreciate all of his > hard work.
