Below is a WINN/WYNN/WYNNE obituary that I noticed today on the web site for the Corsicana (Tex.) Daily Sun. Perhaps her late husband, Foley Wynn, is in a line of someone reading this list. I find interesting the fact that she had a granddaughter who had married a FORTSON. My connection to the WINN family is through my paternal grandmother, a FORTSON of Navarro County, Texas, whose great-great- great-grandparents were Thomas FORTSON Jr. (b. 1742) and Rachel WINN (b. ca. 1743). Here's the obit: ********** Sedalia Wynn Sedalia Wynn, 99, of Corsicana passed away Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2003 at Navarro Regional Hospital. Services will be 11 a.m. today at Sixth Avenue Baptist Church with Pastor K.D. Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be deacons of First Independent Baptist Church. Mrs. Wynn was born Nov. 17, 1903 in Wortham. She was a devoted member of Sixth Avenue Baptist Church where she served in several departments. She was a homemaker and a cosmetologist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Foley Wynn; four brothers and three sisters. Survivors include her devoted son, Steve A.
