    1. Re: [WINN] William Winn/Wynn/Wynns/Winner/Winne 1756 NC
    2. Del, I'm confused - a not unusual state: The information I have is the William Winn, Jr. 1803-1866 m. Phoebe Osborne 1805-1858) was the son of Willliam Sr. 1768-1822 m. Mary Polly Clark, and he was the son of Thomas Winn 1730-1793 and Mary Scott rather than Minor. The information I have from William, Jr. and Phoebe Osborne follows what you have. The source of the above was postings by Julie Zapf on 1-15-2002 and from Shirley Winn Williams on 1-31-2002. Would appreciate your/everyone's help straightening out the Williams, and pointing out if I've made a mistake in reading/transcribing. Thanks, Faye Winn Craig wcraig7526@aol.com In a message dated 1/23/03 9:18:23 AM Central Standard Time, del.c.winn@lmco.com writes: > Here is some information I have on a William Winn that would have been born > around 1756.
