Am looking for any information on my GGG-Grandfather, Abraham Winn [b 03-04-1768 - d 1835]. Married to Martha Armstrong. He lived in upstate New York and Kingston, Ontario. While in Kingston he was vocal about his anti-crown sentiments and was placed in jail. Friends helped him [and others] escape and he made his way back to New York and then on to Ohio. Their intent was to go farther south; but illness forced them to settle in Meigs County Ohio [Rutland Township] in 1815. I don't know where he was born, who his parents may have been or of any siblings. I believe he was a Quaker. Any information will be much appreciated. Richard Winn Gross
