Winn was a brother of my GG-grandfather Joseph Edwin Winn. I have them as two of 18 (!) children born in Laurens County SC. My Joseph Edwin Winn married Elvira Ann Anthony of San Augustine TX in 1856, and died of illness in AR while a soldier in the Civil War, leaving his widow and three children in Centerville TX.
