I found a Thos. J Winn living with Eli Winn in the 1880 census, but listed as grandson (name migt be short for Thomas) and under a roots web search found a Sonnia (Lucinda) Winn (maybe daughter of Eli) who had a child named Thomas Jefferson Winn, she died in 1898 and in the 1900 census there is a Thomas Winn living with a Tom Winn and he is listed as a nephew.
