Sorry about that last message, it was sent to wrong address. Randy
Russell, Sorry for the poor scan on my ad, but the image itself is quite weak, the cigar store indian? is on a pedestal with the pedestal being probably 1/3 of the height of the actual figure, it looks like it has a head band on and has a triangular device suspended from its bent left arm (maybe a advertisement?), am sure its a woman but possibly it does not represent a indian. Thanks for your interest. Randy

The URL for the census site was contained in a prior message that I sent to the list: For those that didn't get it the first time, here's the message again. To access the site, go the West Virginia Library site: http://librarycommission.lib.wv.us Select FALL 2002 DATABASE TRIALS WEB PAGE On the next screen, select HERITAGEQUEST TRIAL. It is the last entry on the page. The password is welcome
Yesterday morning abt. 7:30 (central ) I went to the Free Census Site and got in the site with no problems just as "CatMom" reported to us. Mon. afternoon and this morning I tried the site again both times the site seemed to have omitted the part that gave free access to the census and the books. Anyway thanks for the info "CatMom" --- does anyone know if there are certain times we can access the info? Thanks. Again, You will need to address your e-mails to Keri as Keri is no way related to the WINN-L... it was a private e-mail to me. These are actual paintings not scans and I believe that Keri wants info also. Hi, Somehow I missed the address for this site. Would it be possible for yo to send it to me? Vi of MN CatMom1@aol.com wrote: >This is the best census search engine I've seen yet. Dear Cuz's, I received the below e-mail from Keri, who is a complete stranger.. If you would have an interest please contact Keri personally not me. I asked if I could share this with you guys as it is not of my direct line. - Cuz B From: "Keri Christ" kachrist@rcn.com Sent: Monday, November 25, 2002 10:51 AM Subject: Watkins Wynn I am interested to know, for some research I am doing on a painting, whether there is any mention in your family history of the portraits that were painted of the Williams Wynn side of the family (any receipts, mentions of artists, etc.). I am aware that there are a few extant portraits of Lady Henrietta Somerset (first wife of Watkin Williams Wynn) and Charlotte Grenville, his second wife and their three children. These are by Reynolds and Angelica Kauffman. If you like I can send you more information on these paintings. You may wish to put these on your Wynn genealogy website, which is quite impressive. A portrait that I am researching may be a portrait of Charlotte Grenville or Henrietta Williams Wynn. I would appreciate learning about any anecdotal information that you have about Henrietta and Charlotte. Do you know if either one of them aspired to be or was known as a writer? Thanks in advance for your assistance... Sincerely, Keri Christ So contact Keri if you have an interest Cuz B ttg-inc@attbi.com http://www.ttg-inc.net http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~ttg13/
