When and if I get time on my hands I will try and check this site out to see if I can transfer information without many problems. It would be feasible to have all information on one site to cross-reference. Good to connect with you. Now that I know you're here on this site I will come more often...I checked out some things today and will have to research further before I share because I do not like to put out erroneous information...Oh, if my search was correct, you may be in my area. If you come in this direction just give me a call and we can have a visit. Thelton has the number...Hope to ttyl. Mary Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. It has been difficult tracing back to my Great, great grandfather John Henry Winn, I got the information that his parents were from Virginia from a census record. But I have nothing else to go on and it appears that no-one else does either. I'm almost certain they were slaves and took the owners sir name. I am also the Great-granddaughter of Rev. John H. Winn, Sr. formerly of St. John Colony. I spoke to Thelton just the other day. I have been researching for years for infomation beyond Virginia where our GG hails from. I will prayerfully be @ SJC on Juneteenth weekend. Hope to see you there. I as well am deadlocked when it comes to finding ancestors beyond our GG. I've been working on a page for many of our ancestors and the link will be listed below this note. I would like to cross-reference mine with yours so that at least 99% of info we put out is accurate. My Uncle from California sent me an email a few minutes ago because he'd found this info while surfing. He is a Winn and is the Great grandson of Rev. John H. Winn, Sr. His name is Joseph. My mother's name is Juanita and she is the Great granddaughter of Rev. Winn...Hopefully now we can put these pieces together. Looking forward...Ttyl http://alexanderoberts.tribalpages.com Respectfully, Mary Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
