Dear Cuz's, When working on putting your sources in your research, sometimes we just really need to take a second look and not just go into neutral when we are working on things.... The example below, I think is funny. Look at Elmer's wife's maiden name.... you see something funny there? Remember she is the SPOUSE of Elmer BYERS.... Hint... 2. ELMER W2 BYERS (JOHN M1) (Source: Census Information, "Electronic," See NOTES for Christina & John M BYERS and Elmer W BYERS for census data.) was born Oct 1887 in KS, and died Unknown. He married MINNIE BYERSSPOUSE. She was born 1891 in NY, and died Unknown. Just thought you guys would appreciate this Hugs Cuz B [email protected] http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~ttg13/ "Life may not be the party we hoped for... but while we are here we might as well dance !"

Dear Cuz Shirley, No problem. For Newbies; when people post to a Rootsweb list, it will also post it to the other lists where it finds it to be applicable. So when we respond to them, we need to respond to the link it shows. Then it will send us your response later as it filters through the system, like it did the first time. Hi! It's been a very long time since I've done any genealogy. I'm a Realtor, ( what can I say ). We are leaving on vacation on April 17th. During this vacation we are visiting Winnsboro, South Carolina. Does anyone have any idea where I should go to get information on Richard Winn and family? It seems like years ago one of our group went and found a statue of Richard Winn etc. I'll be happy to share anything I can find out. Not to long ago someone was asking about Minor Winn's home in Fauquier County, Virginia. Several years ago I visited his homestead and met the girl who lives there. I took a lot of photos there and if I can ever figure out how to get them on line I'll share them. Thank you for any help you can give me. Becky Allison

I have been working on my sources to go with the chart we worked on... and in doing so I found something neat in the "Edit Facts" section... 1. You can double click on the top title bar section, and it causes the entire file to sort by that column in alpha order. 2. You can double click on the dividing line between the sections and it will auto format the section to only be as wide as that face section. or you can drag with your mouse that section wall and place it where you want. 3. The Source section counts how many sources are for that fact type. I put all my sources under the persons name so I can find them all in one place..and it shows Dr. Thomas Wynne has 42 sources in the program [it wont allow my other sources because it is out of space, I have 186]. 4. Then you can mark what you think is the "Preferred fact" by clicking on the item that you think should be the preferred say... "occupation" so it will list that one first. or you can click and choose another and it will switch. Just thought I would pass that on...
