The existence of Joshua's Thomas is uncertain. He was not mentioned in Margaret's will. I have no information re which ship brought Robert to Virginia. The most commonly accepted time is 1651, but he first appeared in local records on October 3, 1656, by then a militia captain. I am a long-time resident of Spring, TX, a northern suburb of Houston. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, June 15, 2006 9:45 AM Subject: [WINN] Re: Some Wynn emigrants in Virginia 1600 > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Surnames: wynne > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/FgWBAEB/842.2.1.1.1.1.1.2.1 > > Message Board Post: > > do you know when robert came over and on what ship. my grandfather married ann vivian wynn1873 and then EDWARD MARRIED MARGRARET WYNNE in1710.so i guess were related. do you live in virginia >

Shirley, Of the names you mentioned, the only two that pop up on my charts are Minor Wynne, the 27th and last child of William Wynne II, son of William I, son of Joshua, son of Robert. This Minor was born in 1803 to William II's second wife, Phillis (Marr) and married Emily Peery. Several of William and Phillis' children married Peerys. My grandfather, Harmon, was born to William II's first wife, Cynthia (Harmon). ...and Thomas, William II and Phillis' son born in 1792 who apparently died at four years of age. Some accounts don't list him. William II had a brother named Thomas, but none named Owen and George. Robert's son, Thomas, came along much to early to fit your time frame, and he had no brothers named Owen and George. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, June 14, 2006 8:38 PM Subject: [WINN] Re: Some Wynn emigrants in Virginia 1600 > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/FgWBAEB/842.2.1.1.1.1.1.1 > > Message Board Post: > > I can't figure it out and I've tried for years. > Family legend has us related to the Minor Winn line of VA.
