I don't have your John or Jacob Winfield in my database, but I am fairly confident that all the Winfields in Ulster Co, NY descended from Richard Winfield who m. Magdalena Willemse "Lea" Schutt, widow of Gerret Decker, on 12 Jan 1696 in Kingston, Ulster, NY. I am descended from Richard and Magdalena via their son, Daniel, b. 1700, David, b. 1721, David b. 1759, Esther, b. 1791 m. Morris Davenport in Ulster Co, NY and migrated to Schuyler Co, IL in 1835/36. The Dutch Reformed Church kept very good birth and marriage records so the information should be available. I have some church records from Ulster Co. There is a large book of these records published by the Kingston DRC.
