Hello - I am researching Beatties and have reached a dead end with the marriage of James Beattie to Nancy Winfield. I have notes that say she was born in NY around 1834, but I don't know how accurate that is. Anyone out there who has a tie-in? I know they wound up farming in Wisconsin by the late 1800's.
