Hello Winfield and Wingfield researchers, I am getting desperate trying to find connections for TWO of my ancestors one of whom was named WINFIELD or WINGFIELD....it seems to be spelled one way in one place and the other way in other places. My ancestor was ANNE WINFIELD/WINGFIELD who married JOHN JORDAN in 1778 in Virginia. I am trying to find her parents. Their daughter, MARTHA WINFIELD/WINGFIELD JORDAN married JOHN MATTHEWS of Brunswick Co, VA on 18 Sept 1799 and died in Williamson County, TN in 1850. A large group of connected families from Virginia apparently removed to Williamson County TN in the 1800's. Can anyone tell me about ANNE's parents? Thank you in advance for any help.
