DANIEL W. WINFIELD Daniel W. Winfield, 80, of Tonkawa, died Sunday morning in an Enid hospital. A native of Scranton, Pa., he came to Oklahoma at the opening of the Strip, spending most of his life in the Noble and Kay counties. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Methodist church. Mr. Winfield is survived by his son, Lee Winfield of Enid and a daughter, Mrs. Vada Landis, of Tonkawa. Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p. m. at the First Methodist church with Dr. Robert J. Smith officiating. Burial is planned at Mount Vernon cemetery. Bearers will be Harold Durham, Arthur Eck, Roy Winfield, Floyd Winfield, Neil** Winfield and Cecil Landes. SERVICES FOR WINFIELD ARE TO BE HELD IN ENID TONKAWA - Services for Dan Winfield, 89, former Tonkawa resident, will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Darnall Funeral Home at Enid. Winfield, who lived here with his daughter, Mrs. Vada Landes, 101 1/2 North Main, died Sunday morning at an Enid rest home. He moved to Enid in July. The Rev. Robert J. Smith, pastor of the First Methodist Church at Enid, will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery southeast of Lamont. Grandsons will be pallbearers. Survivors include Mrs. Landes and one son, Lee Winfield, Enid, seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
