I don't know if you have read my other reply, but you are definitely on the right track with Aryson. His father was David. I haven't been able to get farther back than that... at this point, but I'm certain we will. The Layton line is extensive, with links clear back to Charlemaign and beyond, As long as the documentation is correct... You are a descendant of Charlemaign. Beyond Him the links go back...but are difficult to prove. I found this huge list online, and am going to double check some sources. I think the research is pretty good though. I have a "book" that Boyd sent me, I made copies of it and will send you a copy if I can get your snail mail address, along with some things I've dug up online.
