Carolyn,   I looked on Ancestry and found William Winfield with Rose his wife in Chenango, Broome, New Yorkin 1930. The oldest son you mentioned, William must be on his own but Mae b. 1916 and Theron, b. 1924 are listed with their parents. They were all born in New York as were William and Rose's parents.   A William Winfield b. 1886 New York (parents born Austria) and wife Rose C., b. 1893 New York (parents also listed as born in Austria) are listed in Pittsburgh, Penn. with their children Marshall b. 1922 Penn. and daughter Lorraine, b 1923 Penn.   I will look for other Winfields if you'd like. All my family lines are frustrating me so it would be fun to find information for others!   Cheryl
