The Celtic sailed from Liverpool March 12, 1912. His nearest relative is listed as his father, John Winfield, and his address (if I can read the writing on the ship manifest correctly) is listed as 1 Trent Cottage, Long Eaton. My grandfather (and my father like him) was a lacemaker and settled in Rhode Island USA. Any information that anyone is willing to share would be welcome. I know that I still have relatives in England and would love to hear from them. Allen Winfield Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I am admittedly checking under every rock. I have reason to believe an Abraham Winfield married a Cole around 1840 in the Sussex NJ area. Abraham's wife (maiden name Cole?) had a sister, Rebecca, who married an Eli Martin Cole in the Westtown Presby Church on 2 Jul 1842. Might you have any references to an Abraham Winfield married to Cole? I'm trying to confirm Rebecca's father is Joshua. I know, there are alot of 'ifs' in this.
