cknorthrop Re: Whitaker Samuel H. Whitaker married Jly 3, 1897 - Dunn Co. No Catherine Margaret on the WI State Fiche. 1860 Census lists Samuel age 31 - VA. Susan, age 32 Ohio Albert 8, lewella age 5. None on the 1870 census or 1855 state census. Where did Samuel die? Check death records for obit for Samuel & Catherine. None in Monroe Co. Land records could also tell you. Write to Joy Reisinger, Genealogist, 1020 Central Ave., Sparta, WI 54656. There was no marriage record for Catherine in Ohio. Check 1880 census on the Internet. S.
