Hi, With all the discussion of transportation issues, I have a question about a different form of communication: In a book on my wife's ancestor, William Burton (b1799-d 1883) it says: "William was active in business and civic affairs. In company with Daniel Knoop and William Green he built and owned the CASSTOWN PIKE. This highway constructed in 1850 was four miles long and was continued as a toll road for twenty years proving to be very profitable." I'd love to know more about this road. Where was it?
