I am seeking information about the siblings and parents of Wilhelmina Salzwedel who was born in Prussia in September 1829. She married CC Buchholtz in Prussia about 1846. They came to the US/Wisconsin about 1865. Wilhelmina's father is believed to have been John Salzwedel and her mother's maiden name is unknown, but possibly something like Nukurun. I have no indication her parents came to the US. Eight of the twelve children born to Wilhelmina [nee Salzwedel] Buchholtz were born in Prussia between 1848 and about 1864-64; the other four were born in Wisconsin between 1866 and 1870. CC Buchholtz, husband of Wilhelmina [nee Salzwedel] Buchholtz died in Wisconsin about 1906. In 1907, Wilhelmina moved to Tacoma, Washington to be with her younger sons Albert and Adolph [commonly known as George] who had gone west about 1805.
