We have an ancestor whose place of residence (farm) was Trout Falls in the late 1800's and I wonder just what it might have been --a village, post office or just a "wide spot in the road" before it was destroyed. Does your dad remember anything about what it used to be like? I do not have access to the Monroe Co. Pictorial History 1976 book you mentioned. Do you have a copy of the book I could purchase?
