I had not heard of the "History" book that you used for a source. I was born in Tomah, and my parents and grandparents are all from there. I am curious if the book has any info on these names: Griggs, Griswold, Pergande, Kewit, Root, Dewey, Wilde or Achtenberg. What is your connection to the Kuckuck family?
