WI. My husband's gr grandfather Fuller is buried there as well as his sister and members of her family. Their name was WOOD. So we wonder if perhaps the cemetery's origin has to do with the WOOD family. Also, could someone give me directions to the cemetery from Black River Falls, as I plan to be there visiting in October. Thanks for your help.
At the corner of Highway 12 and 21 (stop light) if you are going south on 12 towards Tomah, turn left onto 21, you would be going east, then go until you see a sign pointing left which says Blue Wing. This left turn takes you to the old Indian Cemetery. the Wood Cemetery is on this road. I do not know the name of the road, we were just up that way on Tuesday. But the Blue Wing sign is very noticible.
