Hiram was Samantha's third marriage. They apparently divorced because Samantha married Russel C. Bryan in Black River Falls, Jackson, WI 31 Mar 1898. She died 22 Apr 1915 at the age of 84. She is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Black River Falls, WI.
