Pennsylvannia Date of Birth--June 12, 1838 Son of--Mr. and Mrs. Henry Johnson Note--One of a family of 12 children Enters Union Army--August 15, 1862 Recieved--December 24 , 1862 Honorable Discharge (because of disability) Immigrated to Tomah---1889 Time in Tomah-42 years--Esteemed citizen in Tomah Member --Tomah F&M Lodge,The GAR , The Methodist Episcopal Church Survived by 2 sons--Wm. S. Seattle Wahington and Charles C. of Great Falls ,Montana and 1 daughter Mrs. Catherine Caldwell of Tomah. Seven grandchilderen, 3 ggrandchildren and nieces and nephews. His wife died about a year ago. Funeral Services --From Methodist Church minister---Rev.D.W.Davis. Buriel at Oak Grove Cemetery where Masonic Services were conducted and a miltary rites by the members of Headquarters Company.
