David Cole d. Fairchild, WI, 16 Dec 1888 aged 81 years. A pioneer of Monroe County and owned what is now the County poor farm where he had the old 'Yankee Tavern'. Frank Cole m. 8 Aug 1876 at Sparta, Francis Adele McBride. Merwin Cole of Sparta m. 6 Feb 1877 Nellie L. Harch of Kenosha.
