I assumed the same thing. Everything about Victory showed Monroe Co. Thank you I appreciate the info. But I think I had better still check Sparta as well as Marathon County. Again thanks so very much. Is Marathon close to Monroe? Victory purchased land and was on the census in Monroe. Thank all of you for your replies. Judy ps--does Sparta have anyone that does lookups? I think Victory died between 1860 and 1870. Would love to find an obit, cemetery record, or death record. Actually would love to fnd anything on him. Thanks again.
