Judy This is Audrey Johnson here at the Local History Room in Sparta. I checked your census listing for 1860 and he is indeed on it with several daughters. However, he is not listed in our cemetery card file of gravestones and none of his daughters married here. Perhaps you will find his death records in Spencer also. I would try the Register of Deeds for Marathan County. If you still have trouble write us a letter with what information you do have and we will see what can be done.
