Hi Audrey and all, James Holbrook LINCOLN enlisted in Company F 25th Infantry Regiment from Wisconsin during the Civil war. He died of disease on 23 July 1863 in Lake Providence, LA. His family lived at Dorset Ridge, Ridgeville and Tomah. I don't recall how far back the Monroe County newspapers go. Might there be an obituary?
