I had suspected there were more in the family, as christening records list daughters born to John and Elizabeth, but both are common first names and there seemed to be a ton of Busses in that area. Do you know if any of the daughters and families came to America? Family legend says that 5 brothers came to Buffalo NY. I have not been able to find anything about one named James, and neither has anyone else that I know who is researching the family. There is also a mysterious George Buss who came from Kent to NY to Wisconsin to Kansas and ended up in British Columbia.I am sure he must be related but have been unable to find the connection. I am also interested in the Jennings family of Mary Ann Jennings Cowell Buss. If I can help you in any way, I am willing to share info. Marion
