Mr. Hansen is a widely-renowned genealogical librarian at the SHSW Library in Madison. This library holds newspapers spanning time from 17th century to the present, all 50 US states and the Canadian provinces. The library collection includes about 40,000 compiled family histories, population schedules for all U.S. censuses, ship passenger lists and microforms of major genealogical collections from other institutions.
