Ormson, for many years a prominent farmer in the town of Clifton, Monroe county, were held on Saturday, March 2, 1935 with Rev. A. M. Rusten officiating. Mr. Ormson was born in Norway, on October 24, 1846. Shortly after coming to America he located on a farm in the town of Clifton and was one of its pioneer settlers. On November 2, 1868, Miss Anjer Vinterhus was united in marriage to him, who, with the following children, survive him, namely: Ben and Oscar Ormson, of Kendall, and Otis and Marcus, at home. He also leaves a half-brother, Knute Ormson, of Barron, Wisconsin, and two half-sisters, Mrs. Carrie Paulson, of Barron, and Mrs. Ellen Halverson, of Elroy; also eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mr. Ormson was laid to rest in the family lot in the Fountain Church Cemeteyr. Elroy Leader-Tribune newspaper, Elroy, Juneau Co., WI. dated Thursday, 21 March 1935
